「I stayed in a room rather than one of the lodges, and the room was lovely, very comfortable, and spotlessly clean. It's worth noting its on the very edge of the town, around a 15-minute walk from the centre of Ballater. My only disappointment was that the rooms are not serviced daily unless you are staying for a longer period, which wasn't explained at check-in. 「We loved Balmoral Arms. It was beautiful and very quaint and lovely as were the staff! We especially had a fun time in the cozy pub with an excellent dinner there also. The staff were great! We enjoyed our meal in the lovely dining room for dinner and breakfasts. Great location for seeing Balmoral Castle. Parking was very convenient!」
