Newly renovated and tastefully decorated hotel in downtown Banff. Walking distance to all area restaurants and shops. Mountain shuttles stop directly in front of the hotel, and bus #1 and #2 that go to Fairmont Banff Springs and Sulfur Mountain are within 2-3 minute walk. Underground parking garage was great during cold winter nights.
As far as food goes, there is a great restaurant attached to the hotel, however, I wish it was accessible directly from the hotel as opposed to from the outside. It makes it walking outside and get in during winter months not desirable. For that reason we opted out to dine at other restaurants in town most of the time.
The pool/wellness area was neat but can become crowded during busy seasons.
If I was to be super picky, I would say one downside was the sink/vanity area of the bathrooms in the rooms, which is awkwardly placed in the entrance to the room and is very small for a family of 3 to share on daily basis.
Other than that, the rooms were very clean, nicely decorated, and very comfortable.
I would definitely stay at The Kenrick again!!!
