"All well and enjoyable. But found couple of staff little judgemental in their stares. Faced it after long. Don’t know if it was my brown skin colour, Accent or simpler cloths. Once, I was figuring out the restaurants and could not find the stairs to pizza place when went to dine in and a male staff from the first restaurant in the corner, escorted me to pizza. He asked me, are you staying here mam. I said yes, and then he literally asked me, what’s your room number? And abruptly I told him my room number. My dine in time, ruined my dinner. It happened in front of the Pizza staff and they were very embarrassed as well when that staff asked me my room number. The pizza staff was amazing. Francine was extremely courteous and respectful, explained me the menu and recommended me the zucchini chips pizza. I felt he was trying to make up for that rubbish the other staff behaved in. During my dinner, I kept thinking, how could I tell or indicate that disrespectful guy that I am a lawyer. So, I am brown, the disrespectful guy was brown and Francin was a white non judgemental guy. Madison at concierge was super good and courteous ♥️ Meera at check in was amazing too♥️ So the crux is that this is a stereotype that whites are racist towards coloured people or non branded folks. Atleast the catharsis of my trip to Banff is that Canada my beautiful country for 26 years is inclusive and full of inclusive diverse communities."
