"The room what just what we needed and really clean! Close to the beach and promenade and pier, with in walking distance to quite a bit! Breakfast was lovely with plenty choice of both cold and hot! It was delicious! Staff were so helpful and friendly! We parked on the sea front, was a good price and easy to park, which made the stay easier! "

"The welcome was great. The Hotel is well appointed and generally well maintained. The bar and restaurant served nice food and drink, the prices are in the high side, but in keeping with everywhere else. It is well frequented by the locals, but the atmosphere was mostly friendly. The major downside was the Hotel is right next to a busy railway line. Our room was overlooking the track and it was very noisy when a train went past, which it did several times in the night. "

"On the upside - great location near the beach, and a good breakfast. On the downside - room for over £210 a night had no window to look through, furniture was old and shabby, evening food in both restaurants was at best ‘average’ (and had many items missing)… Overall - could be better"

"We had a amazing stay at the Imperial Hotel. Very close to the beach, pier and town centre. The only thing I wish could be better is room service. "

"Good place to stay within 20-30 minutes of the mountains. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Especially when we arrived late. There was no hassle at check in. Room was clean and beds very comfy which was needed after a long day on the hills! Coffee amenities in the room were also great. There is also a bar downstairs which we never used so I can't comment on that however it always had people in it. Our room did need a little bit of TLC and maintenance but we weren't too fussed as the room was only used for sleeping in. Overall, we would stay here again."
