Property worth staying at

Property was wonderful. Mike was very responsive. Few suggestions to make checkout more convenient would be just to load and switch the dishwasher on instead of putting the washed dishes back. It added a lot more time to wait for the cycle to run. Washing the towels, stripping the linen etc took a lot of time especially with a group of 8 people. Also providing body wash, shampoo and conditioner would have been good.

Great Family location

This property and home were amazing! Would recommend it highly for a family of responsible adults and or Children for a long stay. Easy access to everything one might need for a great time! Other than the grills being left filthy by the last renters this could have been one of the best experiences a family of responsible siblings could have!

Davis Pond Cabin

Property was better than described. Owner's explanation of the history of the property closely paralled my own experience of growing up going to my grandparent's cabins/cottages in Michigan every summer. Unfortunately those cabins/cottages have suffered with time and lack of upkeep and my family didn't enjoy them when we visited. This trip gave my family the opportunity to enjoy a cabin in the North that was modern and had the conveniences which they expected. I'm also a retired Air Force Veteran that felt good about renting a property owned by a current Air National Guardsman. Thanks for a great vacation.

100% Perfect!

What a wonderful home! Perhaps the best thing about this home is something that I never considered when renting. This home has a generator. When a nasty storm came through, we lost power for three days. Normally, the trip would have been ruined. However, when the lights went out, the house generator switched on without skipping a beat. Seconds later, the property manager called to see if everyone was ok. Great customer service! Great home! Thank you for spending the extra money to make sure that your customers are comfortable in any weather! I highly recommend this home!

Maine vacation

Very clean and very quiet. The pond was beautiful and so quiet. Within an hour drive of Acadia NP. We spent 3 days there. The house was super clean and had everything that it was advertised to have. I would highly recommend this house.

Beautiful Pond House

Maine is a great state. This was an an awesome location to enjoy the lake aka pond view and many different boats and kayaks that are included in the house (and life jackets). Every couch and chair electronically reclined and that was a real treat. The view to the lake was beautiful.

Beautiful home on a peaceful pond

This new home on Davis pond is the perfect place to get away from it all. The home is clean and well furnished. We stayed with my parents and our 4 year-old-son. There was more than enough room in the house and in the yard and dock. We enjoyed the paddle boat on the pond and kayaking. Our son caught his first fish there that we then grilled on one of the grills available. The pond is so peaceful and perfect for swimming. We would definitely stay here again.

Very relaxing

Super clean, fun outdoor activities, had everything we needed. Worth every cent. Side note... saw two deer on the dirt road coming in... and a rabbit in the front yard.

Vacation on the water

Overall we had a great experience renting this property. The location was great, with easy access to food, attractions and shopping. Being on the water with boats available was a lot of fun for days we wanted to stay around the house. Our only complaints would be poor communication with property owners and the exorbitant cleaning fee when we were required to strip all linens, wash all towels and take out the trash before departure. They also did not allow shoes inside the residence. If we had known we were going to have to do all our own cleaning, we would have questioned the fee early on. There is water damage inside the home with the living room floor buckling causing a significant tripping hazard.

Camp on the pond

We had a great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer. Enjoyed using the kayaks and paddle boat. Great place to enjoy the Maine lobsters. Clean and had all the kitchen items we needed. Lots of space for the four of us. Fall was a good time for a visit.

Most Amazing Vacation Spot EVER

The house had all the amenities you could ever want. It was beautiful everywhere! The bedrooms had walk out porches to overlook the beautiful pond. The fire-pit had plenty of chairs for all eight of us. It was all the best parts of camping and none of the worst. It was like a little slice of heaven on earth. Amazing!
