Getting Around:

A car is recommended for getting around Banner Elk and the surrounding High Country. The home offers convenient access to city centre Banner Elk, Beech Mountain, Sugar Mountain, Grandfather Mountain, Boone, and Blowing Rock. Mountain roads can be steep or winding, especially during winter weather, so guests visiting during snow or ice season should plan accordingly and consider 4x4 or chains when conditions call for it.
