Cozy 2-story bedroom condo with an open living/dining area upstairs complete with a fireplace. Conveniently located around the corner from the slopes and a short drive to Fred's Mercantile and nearby restaurants, Beech Mountain resembles a Christmas town straight out of a movie. Nestled below Beech Mountain sits Banner Elk, which offers a variety of additional dining options. Besides winter activities, the Buckeye Recreational Complex on Beech offers amazing views from hiking trails around Buckeye Lake.

Really close to the slopes, easy communication with the owner, small and cozy, but overall very nice place. Have to be careful with going up and down the stairs, they are narrow.

The condo itself was pretty clean. However, it’s a dated condo. It’s pretty close to the slopes if you guys want to go skiing. Note if the water is off when you get there, there are two valves. The property manager didn’t know that there was two valves so we went about three hours with no water. Had to wait for some kind of maintenance plumber to get there, but the second valve is inside the bottom floor bathroom to the left of the toilet.

Weekend Stay

Great location very close to beech mountain. No sidewalks so beware that you will have to walk on the side of the road if you decide to walk. Otherwise, just a 2-3 minute drive however. Place was very nice and loved the bird theme!

Great cozy place.

We really enjoyed the place. Very cozy. Everything we needed for a great ski vacation. Very close to the slopes. I found the place even nicer than the pictures. The owner was very responsive to questions, and great to communicate with.
