HIGH MOUNTAIN CONDO--PANORAMIC VIEWS!

Sit on the deck and enjoy long range panoramic mountain views and a spectacular view of Grandfather Mountain from this centrally located condo on Seven Devils. This one bedroom + loft bedroom with ladder style steps condo provides easy access to zip lining, skiing, snow tubing, hiking and shopping. Please note minimum age of any child is 12 years old.

Accommodations include a queen bed in the master bedroom and a full bed in the loft bedroom. Unlike most of the condos in the High Country our condo has air conditioning. A gas fireplace provides a cozy atmosphere during cold weather.

We are centrally located between Boone, Banner Elk, Blowing Rock, Grandfather Mountain and Linville. Appalachian State University is less than 20 minutes away, so book a stay with a view for those home football games.

Enjoy skiing at Beech, Sugar Mountain and Appalachian Ski Mountain in Boone. Tweetsie Railroad is about 20 minutes away as well as shopping in Blowing Rock. Otter Falls is just around the corner which offers at nice hike down to the falls. A little over a mile up the road is Hawks Nest Ziplining and Snow Tubing. There are lots of other hikes around the area including Linville Falls (about 25 minutes away) and the Profile Trail of Grandfather Mountain which is several miles down Hwy 105 towards Banner Elk. Be sure to relax by a mountain brook at Grandfather Vineyard & Winery about half a mile on 105 towards Boone after you leave Seven Devils. You also don't want to miss out on the eclectic merchandise at the Mast General Store in nearby Valle Crucis.

We had much more snow than was anticipated for our trip, but we were cozy and comfortable here. Plenty of heat available, we had all we needed for a 2 night stay. I was really glad we rented a 4x4 Jeep for the drive, we needed it in the snow coming up the mountain! The parking is a short walk from the condo, which was a little difficult transporting luggage with the weather, but we made it, and the courtyard area provided a nice place for us to play in the snow. I would stay here again if I were in the area. Our host was great and very quick to respond to messages!

Lovely view

Sweet tiny place with an amazing view. There are two beds, and the primary one is very comfy. The second is in a loft with very steep stairs, so wouldn’t be ideal for young kids or people with mobility issues. Very small but clean and well appointed kitchen and a cozy living room. The deck was my favorite place to hang out. This is a condo in a building with maybe 9 total apartments, but felt secluded and quiet.

What a view!!

We brought our girls out to snowtube at Hawksnest and found this perfect condo. The view was perfect! The condo was small and cozy. It was perfect for what we came to do. We enjoyed the visit and would definitely book again if we come back out.

Relaxing Stay

The property is gorgeous, but unfortunately not too many local neighbors. This could have a plus with meeting people who are also on vacation during summer or winter, but it can also feel isolating. Directions are expressed thoroughly and the place feels very safe, and it is in a perfect place to explore anything and everything like Grandfather Mountain or try the Alpine Coaster. I would definitely recommend this location for adults looking to relax, the view was also gorgeous and the best part by far!

Beautiful View - Nice home

Very clean and cozy. Fast communication. Great view. Comfy bed. Has all you need (except coffee, salt or pepper - bring your own). Had Netflix which was a bonus for a late night movie! Great for a couple or for three (not little children as their bed is up steep steps). Nice area. The Pedalin Pig nearby is excellent BBQ. Downtown Boone, The Mast Store, hikes, Otter Falls (a short but strenuous hike), …lots to see and do. Great sunrise view, can’t really see sunset too well due to mountain being in the way, so drive to a spot where you can watch it. Would come back again.
