Beautiful setting, so secluded, tranquil and breathtaking volcano views. Shame the F&B options were below average in range and quality. The 2 mosques competing for attention at 4am sharp EVERY morning was too much... and then followed by pulsating music from the village below. Where is all this coming from ?? However, the positives do outweigh the negatives.

Amazing views: from my room i could see Mt Ije, rice terrasses, the sea and even Bali! Very helpful in planning a hike to Mt Ijen

Hotel close to Ijen
A road to hotel is off-road. It's very bad. And there were many insect carcasses in a room. Shower room and toilet are in out door. The hair drier was broken.
