David was a fantastic and accommodating host who went above and beyond to make sure we had a great stay. What a great experience of river life! The house is a great location for an almost off the grid retreat, but with all the amenities and activities you could need for a fun filled weekend (or longer!). Bring any consumables you will need as it is accessible only by boat, and a good pair of walking boots if you want to go to the local swimming hole/dam.

Great riverside family house

Great spot to explore the river for a family plus a dog. Using the boat was awesome as was fishing off the wharf. The house was spacious for a family of 5 plus a dog.

Relaxing river stay

This unique property was the perfect escape for our family get together. David was an excellent host, very helpful and accommodating. I recommend the VIP package, it was great to cruise along the river in the pontoon boat!

We had an amazing time, we enjoyed the house boat and Jetty. David the host was very helpful and accommodating. Location was great for all of us to get away together. The house was a good fit for 8 adults and well appointed, it is a little old and in need of maintenance but this didn’t detract from the stay

Hidden gem

Just returned home and all I can say is all guests including myself left this stay without a negative thing to say. We had an absolute blast this weekend celebrating my partners milestone here. The property was very spacious with the most pretty ocean view. The atmosphere was so relaxing that as soon as we arrived it became home.David was an amazing host going above and beyond from communicating to accommodating to the guest needs.Thankyou David for sharing home I will be returning with the family real soon.

Good location, outdated appliances

most, if not all, of the appliances were broken or just old (eg all 3 dvd players supplied were broken, none of the card/board games had all, if any, pieces, the pool table had a massive tilt rendering it almost unplayable, and the dart board fell apart as soon as a dart hit it!! david was a good host, however, i definitely recommend getting the VIP package with the boat hire as there isnt much else to do on the island.

David was really friendly and made us felt welcome. He showed the kids how to drove the boat and they loved it. The house was lovely. Only issue was the water system, sometimes water may stop and needed to turn on & off the switch to keep it going. But other than that, it was a great experience.

Beautiful location and wonderful host

My family and I had a fantastic stay at bar point. Situations on the point the views and access to the river are wonderful. David the host is friendly and truly aims to make the stay a perfect one. Local walks and hikes, along with great fishing and plenty of house games (pool, table tennis, air hockey, darts) made this a wonderful getaway for the family. Highly recommend for those looking for a relaxing get away.
