The property and area were beautiful. It is right in the middle of Chianti perfectly located. Patrizia and her family were very helpful with our stay making recommendations for us. The only downside is that there were 40 steep steps to climb to get to the apartment.

This penthouse is just as lovely as its pictures. My family of 3 truly enjoyed this small medieval village with its quaint atmosphere. The locals are very nice. Our favorite part was opening up the windows to the cool breeze and admiring the scenery. The beds and furniture are very comfortable and we felt very relaxed staying here. We rented a car and used this as our home base as we explored other villages and even Pisa. It had everything we needed and the hostess is very communicative and thoughtful. We hope to be able to come back again.

San Danato Delight

Our family of 4, including 2 young adult children, thoroughly enjoyed Patrizia's apartment in the village of San Donato. The apartment had everything we needed to enjoy ourselves, and was an excellent, central location to explore the beauty of Tuscany. Patrizia is a thoughtful host, and provided terrific recommendations to local restaurants and markets - she set the stage for us to have a delightful time. Thank you Patrizia!

Perfect

This is an exceptional property in a beautiful and quiet little village with its own little buzz of small cafes and restaurants which cater to the locals and visitors alike. We hired a car, and getting around to visit the vineyards and farms was easy, and the drive stunning. There is so much to do nearby, but we enjoyed nothing more than we did sitting at the big open window of Patrizia’s penthouse, looking at the view, and listening to the chatter of the village below. Patrizia was super at communicating with us, and always available for our questions, as well as making sure that we had all that we needed.
