Welcome to Clark’s Townhouse
Located in the charming village of Vilassar de Dalt, just 20 km from Barcelona. In the lively main square, you’ll be right in the heart of local life, with supermarkets, restaurants, parks, and hiking/biking trails all just a short walk away. It’s the perfect base for exploring the beautiful Maresme area, enjoying local food, and soaking up the scenery. 🚌 A direct bus to Barcelona is only 5 minutes’ walk and takes about 30–40 minutes, making it easy to explore the city without a car.
The House
This semi-renovated historic townhouse keeps much of its original 16th-century charm, with beautiful stone walls and wooden beamed ceilings. ❄️ There is no air conditioning, but the thick stone walls naturally keep the house cool and comfortable even in the summer.
Layout & Sleeping Arrangements
Comfortably accommodates 4 guests, up to 5.
Ground Floor: direct access from the square, modern kitchen and living area, charming bedroom with double bed keeping its original character and also accessible from the street via a private entrance, small cozy bathroom with shower, WC, and sink.
Upstairs: accessible via two staircases to a small tranquil patio, retains original features, including a bedroom with double bed and views of the square, and a bedroom with two single beds, also overlooking the square.
Important Notes
⚠️ Steep & Narrow Stairs: stairs leading upstairs and to the patio are narrow and steep; may not be suitable for guests with mobility issues.
🏛️ Authentic Character: some light dust from the original beams and stone walls is normal even after cleaning; guests with allergies should take note.
🍷 Tapas Café / Bar: located just outside; great for a drink and meeting locals, but you may hear lively conversations in the evenings.
🚫 No Pets: pets of any kind are not allowed.
🅿️ Parking: limited on the main square and in a Blue Zone (ticket required); free parking approx. 5 minutes’ walk away.
