"We paid a budget price so were not expecting luxury, however there were lots of very basic issues with the house. The place was very musty on arrival and it seemed as if it hadn’t been opened up for a long time. The smell also pervaded the kitchen cupboards so I had to wash every item of crockery and cutlery before we could use it. Not that there was a lot of crockery - only side plates and tapas dishes. "We had a wonderful experience at this hotel, and a huge part of that was down to the brilliant staff. Everyone was incredibly polite, friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help. A special mention must go to the doorman, particularly the smaller gentleman, who was always so pleasant and helpful. His warm welcome and friendly manner really stood out and made us feel looked after from the moment we arrived. The bellboy (tall young man)was equally fantastic — professional, courteous, and always ready to assist whenever needed. The reception guy was also excellent, handling everything with a smile and making us feel genuinely welcome when we booked in. I would also like to praise the housekeeping team. They did a wonderful job . Overall, the staff are a real credit to the hotel. Their professionalism, kindness, and willingness to help made our stay even more enjoyable. Brilliant service from a brilliant team — thank you all!"

"Fantastic stay- this is such an underrated hotel for the price we paid. The staff were friendly, attentive and allowed us an early check im which after our flight was needed. Bed was so comfy and the mini bar being included in room rate was a nice touch. Shower and bathroom were pristine and everything is walkable from the hotel. Have and will recommend this to friends and family. What a great hotel for Barcelona!"

"Great location. Convenient for airport bus and supermarket very nearby. By ramblas. Hotel and spa was great. Only tip is to get a room higher than floor 4 as can hear the metro at night. If you are on floor 4 or lower, Keep things off glass table as at night the metro shook the glass table and if we had certain things on the glass table it make the noise worse. But think metro stops at midnight and restarts at 5am. Lady at reception when we checked in was great and recommended Fred and Elsa. We went on our first day and again on our last day. Spa was amazing. The pool top notch in the basement. Would stay again but just request higher floor to get better night sleep."
