"The place was right off the Main Street which was nice and next to a Dennys restaurant. The property was well maintained even though it looked old . The rooms were fine for me. Not big but clean with a bed and bathroom and that’s all I needed. It’s nothing fancy but it served it’s purpose."

"I didn't actually stay here due to a family emergency and needing to get home. The front desk staff (Ashley) was very helpful and professional when I needed help with canceling my reservation. Next time I'm in Payson. I will definitely book a stay and hope that Ashley is at the front desk when I check in;)"

"The property is very well maintained and the house is very clean. The view from the deck is beautiful, excellent spot to have coffee, and meals. The air conditioning really came in handy for the muggy nights. The hiking trails that are only 1.5 miles away are maintained very well and a pleasure to use. The host is very responsive to requests and needs. I highly recommend the Payson House and would consider using this location again when visiting the area."

"This was our first experience with VRBO. This is a great location! It backs up to the National Forest and was very quiet, clean and close to downtown Payson. It’s small, but fine for our needs. The host house is immediately next door to the VRBO. We met the owners and they were very pleasant and provided information about Payson. The Fire TV was unfamiliar, and we would've preferred a TV with local station for the few times we used it. A new window air conditioner was installed (12,000 BTU). It was 95 degrees while we were there, and it struggled to keep up. It seemed a bit small for the area. The bathroom has a small shower stall, toilet, a single sink and a stack washer- dryer in the same room. Plenty of amenities are provided so you don't need much more than your clothes. Easy check-in and check-out. It’s a good spot to get away for a few days."

"We had an excellent stay for the 4th of July, 2026! The host was wonderful to work with and communicated quickly.Location was perfect, convenient to everything family wanted to do. Property was clean, comfortable, and had great amenities that made our stay enjoyable. We would definitely stay there again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great Vrbo rental"
