「Parking is good we didn’t have a drink in the bar. We have stayed here many times over the years but it has gone downhill. Poor maintenance in the bathroom… no hot water for a shower or a wash! Went to breakfast and was told we had to be finished within half an hour… people on the next table… the waitress actually asked them to leave!! My husband complained at reception but they just said ok I’ll let them no… with no apology. Also check in not very welcoming! Also they have spoilt the...

「This was one of the best places I have stayed in a long time. The look of the Ribchester Arms, when we arrived, was impressive. We had a very large room and bathroom, both very modern with a 'fridge and juices, milk, drinks and biscuits. The staff were very helpful and looked after us. Breakfast was freshly cooked and pretty good. We ate there a couple of nights and the food was wonderful. A recommended place to stay .」

「Room was spotless and appeared to have been recently decorated. Unfortunately there were cracks in the sink and the hotel generally looks a little tired. The hotel staff were amazing … all so friendly, helpful and welcoming. Particularly Aziz at breakfast and the wonderful bartender Mal. He couldn’t do enough for us, moving furniture around and asking us if we wanted any particular music to be played. He really went above and beyond to make my 89 year old mum’s evening. 」

「The room was pretty cold on arrival, but soon worked out how to get the heating on.Staff were very helpful and managed to sort out my booking, that Expedia failed to notify the hotel, so they were not expecting me.The room was aa bit outdated,and not very soundproof, the 7 lane bypass was very noisy during the night,even with the window closed.」

「The Hotel for the price you pay was ok. The bed was clean, however no mattress protection was laid down. The bathroom was also clean. The rest of the room as not as clean as i would have hoped and looked tired. The location however is excellent! Parking was suffient and only a 3min walk in the famous all creatures great and small area. 」

「The room was clean, comfortable and well maintained with good decor. The bathroom had a powerful shower and enough room around the basin for your wash bags. Lighting in the bathroom is always an issue for me (!) so as usual I had my mirror on the window sill in search of natural light. We ate in the pub on the first night, sharing a platter. Good menu.
