The hotel was excellent. It felt very upmarket but without an upmarket price. Room was small but absolutely fine for one person. Wonderful bathroom! Food was excellent. Will be going back next year.

This is a traditional old style hotel. May not be ultra modern but full of charm and character and wonderful staff. Always a pleasure to stay. The restaurant is top notch for both breakfast and evening dinner.

My wife and I are active octogenarians.This is an excellent hotel for us, for a short break. The staff are genuinely friendly and the decor comfortably slightly old fashioned or traditional. Family group of hotels, well run. Parking adequate but note to reserve if you have blue badge. Food is excellent and breakfasts are brilliant, the menu extensive. This nice hotel is a favourite with us more mature Devonians. Enjoy! Ps. Very clean and ensuite bathroom very good.
