“This cottage is really nice, comfortable, tastefully decorated and accommodated the 6 of us very well. Kitchen and bathrooms are very nice, great screened porch, lots of games, videos etc. Beautiful inside and out. Location was lovely, out in the country on the water but a very quick drive into the city. A couple of the beds were comfortable, some not so much. But overall, a wonderful and very clean place to stay. Excellent owner communication. Highly recommend.”

“We came for a mother daughter weekend getaway and it was a perfect location. Lake was nice and peaceful and we enjoyed the deck and fire pit. Didn’t get a chance to use the kayaks but would’ve if the weather wasn’t so windy. We had a fantastic dinner at Bay Pointe Bar and Grille as well as Azul Agave. Visited Holland which was only about an hour drive as well as stopped at checked out the outlet mall in Grand Rapids. Host was very easy to communicate with and check in and out were seamless.”

“The home was as described, clean, a short walk to the water, and perfect for our family. Communication was good and we are glad we stayed! One suggestion would be for bed linens to be readily made on the bed. It was a bit of a surprise to find the clean linens folded and all beds needing to be made (this single Momma didn’t expect to do work) but wasn’t a deal-breaker as everything was clean. My kids liked the area but I would say the playground area is best suited for kids 10 and under as the……

“Clean, well furnished. Swimming not done as weather was cold. Fishing was disappointing, no boat available and off dock was shallow and weedy. Could use some covering over bed legs, hit toe, thought i broke it. Never met host, no communication at all. ”

“It was so much fun, lots to do within the home and in surrounding areas. The house was super clean and great for families. The host was great at communication and I’d definitely go back! ❤️”

“We arrived to a filthy place after driving very far. There was beer and coffee cream on the table, a garbage bag hanging on on of the chairs, there was another full garbage bag on the kitchen floor, the beds weren’t made, dirty towels all over the floor and we were completely disappointed. When we reached the owner, he was unapologetic and simply said “send me pictures to prove you didn’t make the mess and I’ll refund you”. This was not a great way to celebrate our 22 year wedding anniversary. ”

“We found this cottage to be entirely comfortable and on a charming lake Mine was the only boat on the lake, which is generally deserted and offers an abundance of nature. The fishing was excellent. I did some trolling and caught two 5.5 lb largemouth bass. My wife visited the nature preserve at Hastings, only 15 minutes away, and saw many species of birds. The host, Pam, was very accommodating and easy to reach. We will definitely be returning to this VRBO. ”

“Kitchen was very well supplied for all our cooking needs. Home is very nicely decorated. Believe the pictures. Awesome view of the lake through the trees from both levels. Very nice area. A few more entry steps down than expected but not a problem. Parking in the two stall attached garage was a plus especially when packing the car to leave on a rainy morning. This was the perfect place for us for our one week stay.”
