The staff was excellent. They were extremely helpful. I was recovering from a knee surgery during our visit and the staff were very accommodating. The location of the hotel is very good for sight seeing and shopping.

Limehome Basel Münzgasse
Excellent location. Would like the option of housekeeping or at least for bins to be emptied on longer stays. Option for food would be an added bonus, even just a vending machine as local shops close early.

Merian am Rhein
The property has NO staff. (except a maid) That was a bit confusing at first. Although at the time of booking it does state that there is no manned check-in, it is not clear how to check in until you actually arrive. We didn't know if you could even get into the building, but you can. (not sure of ...

Boutique & Design Hotel Volkshaus Basel
The staff member who greeted us at 8:20 in the morning was very helpful. She provided us with maps and Basel visitors passes as well as offered to hold our luggage until our room was ready. Everyone was very helpful and friendly towards us.
