"The hotel has a modern exterior, with a contemporary interior that feels up to date. It’s not in the part of London most tourists picture, but it is in a modern area that is convenient for anyone attending events at the ExCeL London conference centre. Excellent public transport links make it easy to reach central London attractions in a relatively short time. One thing worth noting is aircraft noise. Depending on the runway configuration at the nearby airport, departing planes can be heard from 7:00 a.m. On some mornings it was noticeable, while on others it was minimal depending on takeoff direction. The front desk staff were courteous and helpful throughout my stay. Housekeeping was inconsistent, likely due to time pressure. On two occasions, they accidentally left their master room-access card in my room. The complimentary canned water was also inconsistent some days two cans were provided, other days one or none, and once a can had a chewed piece of gum stuck to it. I reported this to the front desk, which simply offered a replacement water. Breakfast was good, with a standard hot and continental selection including eggs, pastries, cereals, and fruit. While fairly typical for this type of hotel, everything was, good, and regularly replenished. Overall, the hotel offers modern facilities, helpful staff, and convenient transport links into central London.However, housekeeping isn’t great and aircraft noise from around 7:00 a.m. may be noticeable on some mornings."
