"This property is quite old but our room was clean and bed very comfortable. All the staff we spoke to were friendly and very helpful. The beetroot wellington I had for dinner was really tasty. There is plenty of free parking"

"Hotel with welcoming entrance and polite reception staff. Clean and spacious room. A big restaurant / bar with freshly cooked good meals, served by friendly staff. The hotel pool with a steam room, sauna is a great addition. Highly recommended. "

"Ample parking, well-appointed room, staff generally helpful. We stayed in the ‘Indulgence Suite’ and were impressed by the room, but sadly didn’t get to enjoy a relaxing evening as there was a party going on that was just so, so loud until 11pm. Pub food was extremely disappointing, very over-priced for quality. Breakfast was tasty and a good selection, but at 9am there was no bread, plates or bowls for the buffet so wasn’t very well-maintained. Bed was very uncomfortable unfortunately. Room was very dark and quiet once music had stopped though."

"The hotel staff were super friendly and even though there was a technical hitch at check in (not their fault) they made sure that we were not impacted by it. Things like thatake a big difference to any stay. Clean and spacious room. Comfortable bed. "
