“We were in town for the Folk Festival and had a great weekend. The owners are next door and were quick to answer any questions we had. The bath is very tiny, which wasnt a problem, but be aware that the only sink & mirror is in the kitchenette. The map indicates the cabin is right behind the courthouse and thats the main reason we chose it because we could walk around the main part of town and not worry about parking. But the location is actually several blocks away. It is a walkable distance……

“My husband and I stayed here for the eclipse and had a good experience being able to see it from the deck ( a few new leaves added interest to the view). The inside space is as well done and efficiently arranged as any 600 sf space I've been in. We were comfortable, bed and linens were all very good. Added benefit was watching an eagle's nest!”

“We absolutely loved the property and the cabin! While we didn't see any deer (our timing may of been off) we saw plenty of hawks and had a very territorial pair of hummingbirds that kept us company out on the back porch. It is at a dead end and very secluded with only sounds of nature and possibly ancestors, with a spectacualr view. The Jimmy Driftwood Barn, Mellons Country Store, and McSpaddens Dulcimer Shoppe is right down the highway the road and the town center is just a little further down.”

“I love this property so much! I would definitely come back to stay again. The only negative thing I can say is I wasnt able to sit at the deck because of the wasp and the path to the dock was a bit crowded with shrubby and spider webs. Overall, a 10/10 stay!”

“We planned and attended a wedding at Blanchard Springs area. My father is 92 and loves the river. He enjoyed sitting out on the deck and watch the river roll by. The view was beautiful. This property was very clean, modern, and elegant. The bedrooms were very comfortable. I would recommend this property for a larger family. All 8 of us enjoy the stay.”

“Very nice, roomy stay on river. Our large family stayed very comfortably for a weekend of my daughters college graduation at Harding university. It was about 25 min from Harding. Would definitely recommend”

“The property is located immediately on the Little Red River with direct access for fishing. We enjoyed our stay. The trailer is older but clean and comfortable. The owner is nice and very helpful.”

“Overall, this is a nice property in a remote location but near to all kinds of outdoor activities, river fun, hiking and Blanchard Springs Cavern. The property was well maintained and clean. There is a ladder leading to an upstairs bedroom so if you have little kids be prepared. The cabin is in a remote location off of a dirt road but fairly easy to find. This is a small quaint cabin in the middle of woods with all kinds of wildlife.”

“The most enjoyable thing we did at the cabin was sit on the porch and listen to the rain. It's a great spot for peace and quiet. We especially enjoyed thoughtful details like bathrobes provided in the bathroom and the cozy quilts. Parking was adequate for two vehicles and we believe three could park there if none were very large (e.g. extended-cab pickups). We aren't really TV watchers and never turned it on, but if you are, be aware it's a small screen and situated in a corner and two of the……

“This place was extremely clean. They had extra ammenities for our stay. The host was amazing and helped guide us through our stay. Literally thought of everything! We went to see the full solar eclipse and even had solar eclipse glasess waiting for us. Amazing host couldn't ask for more. Thank you!”

“Hotel was not bad at all, it’s older and could use a remodel but over all okay. The free hot breakfast was fantastic and the staff was very friendly! Would stay again. ”
