“This property is a bit off the beaten path, half hour walk from the waterfront boardwalk and restaurants. It was a comfortable stay. There is lake access from the property. Walking distance from Kuirau Park, a neat geothermal park. ”

“The partial view from unit 1 could only be seen if you stood in the right position outside on the balcony and then you could just see some ocean. The apartment had all the facilities, however it is getting a little dated and in need of maintenance. The fans had dust on top and the bedroom fan control knob was broken and difficult to turn without it.”

“There was a gross odor (of rotting wood/drywall/sewer/mold/BBQ grease) that hit me every time I entered the bedroom. I could not place exactly what it was and it did not ease during my whole stay. Air freshener spray or keeping the windows open did not alleviate it. I believe there must be a sewer drain pipe vent within the wall or something. I was wary of sleeping in there. Margaret said she had recently washed all the bedroom walls down and resealed the floors so I think she was aware of……

“Our host Kerry was wonderful! She was in communication with us the day prior to organise a really easy check in. The room was spotless and very comfortable. Nice and close to shops and only a couple of minutes drive to the beach. Perfect for a weekend getaway for 2 ☺️ Thanks so much! ”

“Beautifully place. Compact but well laid out. The stairs are a little concern for older people and young kids. Overall very clean and all amenities as described ”

“A quiet peaceful spot. Lake Rotorua is a short distance away…nice to sit by the lake in the morning. ”

“The apartment was clean, comfortable and homely. Very central location, convenient to shops and restaurants. I appreciate the high ceiling of the apartment. It gave me a sense of relaxation with the larger volume of space. The designated parking lot is not next to the property though. ”
