“Our experience was very poor. The hotel's online information said that check in begins at 4 pm, however when we got there at 8 pm, the room was now being mopped so we had to wait a few minutes for this to be completed. The floor was still wet when we went to our room and smelled like a dirty mop. We returned to the front desk to request another room but the front desk clerk said that there was none. We asked if the room could be mopped again because we did not like the smell, and he said that……

“The staff goes out if their way to make sure you have everything you need for an exceptional stay. Rooms are extremely well maintained and breakfast is excellent. The location is in an ideal location close enough to walk to to all the shops and restaurants.We will be booking our winter stay there soon.”

“Gorgeous view overlooking the bay. Enjoyed drinking wine and sitting on terrace while looking at the bay and watching sailboats. Wonderful staff who go above and beyond. Delicious breakfasts and 5pm social with drinks and food. Great location with walking distance to St. George St. Enjoyed walking on the old paved streets and looking at the old homes. Parking was not a problem.”

“The included breakfast was excellent and much more than we could eat. The wait staff were beyond exceptional - Belinda, Toni, and the cook (didn't get his name) were just the nicest, most pleasant people you could ask for. We looked forward to going to breakfast every morning. The room was very nice and clean, however one thing that could be improved was the cleanliness of the floors. There was sand on our floors for days after we went to the beach. Again, the cleaning staff were always……

“The view from our room was the absolute best part of our stay at the Edgewater Inn. The Inn is quaint and could definitely use some updating (chipped deck, cracks in the ceiling, etc), but overall is a pleasant stay. The room we stayed in could have used a good mopping and a wipe down in some areas, but the bed was comfortable and the ac worked perfectly. The views are amazing (day and night) and it’s in such a close proximity to all that Saint Augustine has to offer.”

“I absolutely love the customer service. They really take pride in their beautiful house. We were there this past week and everything was nice and clean. We were welcomed with a glass of vine to start our vacation. Breakfast was delicious! The property is very close to everything. Just park your car, and walk everywhere. We will definitely come back again!”

And The Well was great too with a very friendly bartender. It’s a fantastic location as well - pleasantly quiet and still one block away from everything.”
