“This was a very cute bungalow. It's old but well maintained. There was a roach in the bathroom, not the big cockroach but a small roach. I didn't see any signs of uncleanliness anywhere in the home, so we chalked it up to coming from outside. This isn't the best neighbor but we enjoyed ourselves. I'm prior military myself and many military installations aren't in the most desirable areas. It was convenient to the base, which was my primary reason for being here. “Very nice home with a parking spot in the rear. Neighborhood was quiet with non-existent traffic. Short drive to Six Flags Great America. More amenities than we needed, however very nice that they are there for family needs. Laundry, exercise space, free Wi-Fi, connected TV. Check-in was easy. Host responded promptly to messages and proactively inquired about our stay. We felt very safe with cameras and motion activated lights on the property. “A super nice get away! Granddaughters & son came out for 2 days & enjoyed the beach, kayaking & game fun on the huge deck. We stayed the remaining time & enjoyed watching people launch their boats & other lake activities from the public pier area. It is super clean & very comfortable. I will definitely go back!”
