Gorgeous and peaceful stay

My fiance and I stayed a night here and it was a lovely stay! The architecture is beautiful, the grounds are peaceful and natural, and the amenities were very comfortable. We'll certainly be back again!

Peaceful Nature

The living/sleeping area and bathroom were adorable. Nice big shower and tub. The grounds are beautiful and it is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood with not much traffic or hassle. It was fun to sit outside in the lush green back yard watching the squirrels run around. The bed was very comfortable and I slept very well. I really enjoyed my stay. It was nice to have it after a lot of Chicagoland traffic and hustle!

This place was amazing!! The bed was super comfortable and the jet tub was out of this world!! It was very clean and quiet. The host was very accomodating and had great communication. My husband and stayed overnight because he had an army function to attend. This was perfects! to attend.

Serene and relaxing

I stayed at this property while in town for a Naval ceremony on base. What a great property, beautiful and quiet, perfect place to unwind after a long busy day. Highly recommended

Lovely, peaceful spot

We very much enjoyed our stay in this quiet, beautiful accommodation as we attended various family wedding events over a long weekend. It was delightful to be among the trees of Riverwoods, and it was convenient to everything. It had everything we needed and spoiled us with a grand bath and lovely gardens. Check in and out were a breeze. Highly recommend!

Riverwoods Getaway

A lovely rental in a great neighborhood. Clean, large living room with comfortable king bed, luxurious bathroom, huge closet, adequate kitchen facilities but a bit awkwardly located in the hallway. Beautiful backyard and setting. Good communication with owner. Would recommend!

Private Entrance To Master Bedroom Suite

My husband and I stayed here two nights and worked well for us. The location is secluded and private yet close to easy access to the highway. There is a mini fridge/freezer, toaster and coffee maker which worked well for us to eat a light breakfast before we left for the day. The host provided clear directions on how to find the home and gain entrance to the unit. If you're looking for a place to stay as an alternative to a hotel room in the north suburbs of Chicago, this is a good option.

Lovely space

The space is generous and relaxing. We loved the mature trees, privacy, black squirrel, frogs,…The only drawback for us was the kitchen amenities - specifically a lack of any sink, other than the bathroom sink, to clean dishes. As well, we brought our own coffee (important in our mornings) but the only pot available was a Keurig with pods. No coffee shop nearby. Otherwise it was perfectly lovely.

Quiet & peaceful

We were in town for a wedding and don’t know the Chicago area. We were looking for a safe, quiet place. We found the perfect match with this one. The area is woodsy and surrounded by nature. You would never know it was attached to the main living quarters as it was very private. The apartment was updated and very clean. It was a reasonably short drive to restaurants, shopping, and everywhere we wanted to go. The communication with the host was prompt and accurate with easy check in. We will definitely try to stay here again when returning to the area.
