“Dirty sheets, dirty dishes, dirty shower curtain.Beds were horrible. We contacted the rental company and were told if we left in 30 minutes we would get a full refund. All we wanted was clean sheets, but we were told numerous times just to leave. There was no place to go at 11 pm the day before Thanksgiving. We ended up leaving at 6:45 am after we found another place to stay. This place should not even be listed on VRBO. ”

“My husband and I stayed here for our baby moon, and it was perfect! We used daufuskie life for our shuttle to and from the house, and Lowcountry ferry for our shuttle to island from Hilton head. Both transportation’s were great and referred by host! We got to the island a little bit earlier than our reservation, but the host was more than welcome to accommodate us, and great with communication. We ended up having a slightly stormy weekend, but the location of this rental was perfect for quick……

“This island is like taking a step back in time. It is quiet and makes you feel as though you are on a private beach. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our house was clean and everything was easy to navigate. The ferry and land transportation were easy to navigate (we used island head).We will definitely be back! ”

“Absolutely charming and beautifully appointed carriage house! The perfect location for enjoying everything that Beaufort has to offer. Walking distance (2 blocks) from “town” and the river park. An easy loop through historic Beaufort for getting your steps in. And Southern hospitality at its best from beginning to end.”

“Very clean and pleasant. We especially enjoyed the screened in back porch. We spent hours back there enjoying the breeze and the birdsong. The location was convenient and perfect for the purpose of our visit to attend Marine Corps Graduation Ceremony. I highly recommend this cottage. ”

“The place smelled really bad like cigarettes. Go into the bathroom and it smelled like sewage. Rugs were filthy black dirt on our feet. Queen size bed right in the living room behind the tv.”
