“It was loud at times but pleasant stay”

“This was my 4th stay at this resort. I love that it is on the north end of the island, it seems quieter, away from the other hotels & crowds. I will probably stay someone else next from. Although I saw they may be closing from November 2026 April 2027 for renovations so that might improves some things. I asked for a high floor, a quiet room. I was glad to get the 5th floor the highest level but disappointed to be put in an adjoining room where I could hear every word spoken from my neighbors……

“This hotel is old and in major need of updating and deep cleaning, don't be fooled by the outside and the lobby. The hallways and rooms smell SO bad of mold/mildew! The smell and people slamming doors all night long kept me up almost all night. The walls are so thin you can hear the people next door talking and hear their TV. First room they gave me smelled so badly I had to ask for a new room and the second one was just as bad. When I got into the second room, I noticed the toilet tank lid……

“Great pool. Fun lazy river. Great for families.”

“Staff were very prompt and courteous. 2 rooms we saw had an overwhelming smell of mildew. The first had what appeared to be mold on the ceiling, and it was just terrible. The second had a construction dumpster outside of the door with a car of tweakers doing tweaker things in it. It also had a 4" holesaw cut out in the drywall on the wall to the connecting room? Not sure what was going on there. Luckily, it wasn't completely through yet; maybe that was an upgrade you could ask for later.”

“The air in the entire hotel was heavy wish the smell of strong cleaning chemicals. Very toxic!”
