"The check in process was easy and the owner is very friendly. However we had no idea it was a trailer park. The yard is full clutter and the other mobile homes are too close to the house. The couch and the bed were horrible! We could feel the springs in the cushions and the washer and dryer clearly need to be replaced. The dryer didn't dry. The stay was short and it didn't rain but rain would have been mud puddles. All in all the description of the property feels a little crafted and what we got...

"Elevator was out of service and no prior notification. Pool was also closed."

"The room was good for a night. However the ac unit in the room was very loud and was making strange noises. Had to get up a lot to adjust to try and stop the noise. And the light from the thermostat stayed on. We had to cover it up to try and get some sleep. Not really a complainer. But hoping it gets fixed for future customers."

"The breakfast buffet was absolutely fantastic, the outdoor restaurant above the pool was very good, the dinner was excellent. All of the normal things: Clean room,, Staff, outdoor pool, Beach were excellent . Communications were not so great. We "heard" you had to reserve a beach chair and that you could do it at the beach. So we went down and waited with another family for a long time. We called the number on the beach service sign finally got through to a very pleasant woman who said she would send someone over. That person never showed. So basically the beach, which the reason we chose you, was not available to us, we are not spring chickens and did not bring our own chairs like so many people did. I suppose there was a solution, but it was hot, and by then we were frustrated, so the beach was a bust for us. Also since you do serve "not-young" people , it would be nice if you either had a paper information sheet/magazine, or your on TV information would be more complete, especially when the remote did not work well and we had to hit the buttons several times to choose a site. Very bummed out, will not recommend to others since there are other choices available."

"my feet were black no trash cans no ‘ do not disturb’ sign. asked for trash can 3 times, was told there should be 2 in the room. The night before we left we got 1. dust on top of small refrigerator sad it has not been kept up. it is closet to Parris Island and they have graduation weekly, so this place gets many visitors just for that reason. Evens smells musty, not fresh needs fresh paint. better cleaning."

"We loved our stay at Blue Water Resort! The property was beautiful with clean pools, manicured lawns and access to the intercoastal waterway. Our suite was huge too! The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and cleaning essentials. We enjoyed the guest activities that are offered including the minigolf and kayak tour. The staff were so friendly and helpful throughout our stay. Michelle at the front desk and Melanie in the activities department were awesome! They provided local recommendations and made sure we had a blast throughout our visit. Thank you!!"
