Small hotel with good price and service

We have a pleasant stay here. Although the room is small, the staff are friendly. It is located in a very beautiful small town. There are a lot of restuarants close by. The breakfast provided by the hotel is good. The room is clean but small. The lift s small, too. It can only allow 2 big suitcases with one small suitcase added with 2 adults in the lift. If you drive, there will be more things to see. If not, you can still enjoy staying there for shopping and sitting in a nice restaruants chatting with friends. I like this small town.

Super Lage trotzdem ruhig. Gutes Bett. Der Eingang zum Zimmer wurde als Abstellraum für zu waschende Wäsche und putzutensilien genutzt.

Villa Beaupeyrat had some good things going for it and some not so good things. Positives: - Great location, easy walk to town (5-8 minutes) - Complementary Parking - Beautiful Grounds and quiet neighbourhood. - Coffee pods for every day of the stay - Stocked kitchen with all amenities (although we ate out) - Great outside space for aperitifs and breakfast - Living room couch and chairs were comfy Areas for improvement: - Sheets were scratchy - No fans in any of the rooms for air circulation (and no AC) - Outdoor table and chairs were wonderful to enjoy a little aperitif, however ours were fiberglass and very itchy on our skin. We had to cover them with our jackets in order to sit. Other apartments had metal chairs / tables which would have been better. Negatives: - couldn't open windows for air (they were double windows and the first one impeded the 2nd window opening fully for air) - we were on the ground floor and windows opened directly to street with no screens or protection so we had to leave them closed. - our room smelt of fresh paint which was very overwhelming. Due to not being able to leave any doors or windows open while we were exploring the city, it was hard to clear the space of the smell of paint. Hard to rate service as there is no on-site staff or individuals to speak to. Overall we enjoyed our stay but with a few small changes (fans!) it would have been an even better one.

Love everything about Beaune. Staying on a friday night caused a problem with parking overnight as Saturdays are Market Day so we had to park outside the centre and walk with our bags..not so easy when you're disabled but the beauty of Beaune made up for it.

Bel hôtel Hôtel agréable dans un ancien couvent , en plein centre-ville. Nous avions une petite chambre mais très fonctionnelle et moderne . Petite déjeuner, très complet avec de bon produits dans une très belle salle ancienne. Personnel très agréable . À recommander.

Leuke plaats als stopplaats als je naar het zuiden gaat. Mooie bezienswaardigheden, lekker rond slenteren en fijne restaurants. Voor Frankrijk betaal je alleen veel te veel voor een glas wijn. Op zaterdag een gezellige markt. Helaas op zondag en maandag het meeste dicht. Hotel prima voor 1 of twee nachten. Simpel ontbijt. Loopt zo het stadje in om de hoek het Hospice.

Nous avions réservé une chambre avec 2 lits séparés. A l'accueil on nous a immédiatement demandé si nous avions bien reçu le mail de leur agent signalant que l'hôtel ne pouvait nous fournir qu'une chambre avec lit double. Nous n'avons pas reçu ce mail et n'avons pas apprécié cette négligence. Nous avons aussi eu un problème avec la douche (le pommeau s'est détaché du tuyau).

The hotel is in a good location, although no onsite parking available there is public parking a short walk away.. The room was basic, and could do with some basic renovation in the bathroom.. Breakfast was a bit of a farce, initially no tables to sit at, and then no hot food, despite the waiters popping in and out replensihing croissants etc.

Perfect stop over

This is our third time staying at hotel Athanor. Always as a stop over on a trip to the South or south west of France. Beaune is our favourite place to stop over and Hotel Athanor is perfectly located on the edge of the centre, close to several good restaurants. The staff are extremely helpful and it is very good value for money.

En pärla

En pärla mitt i Beaune. Lite slitet men rent, trevlig och hjälpsam personal, bra dusch och sängar. Finns ett biljardbord som skulle behöva lite kärlek men det funkar hyfsat att spela på ändå. Beaune i sig är en fantastisk plats så vi kan gott tänka oss att komma tillbaka hit och bo på detta hotell. Gratis parkering på 10 min avstånd (parkeringen är annars dyr, fn EUR 35 för 10 timmar).
