“My room was super clean and tidy with everything you may need. All the staff were incredibly friendly and very helpful. Private parking just outside my room. Breakfast was very good with lots of choices. I ate dinner here which was simply supeb”

“The hotel’s proximity to the train station and the availability of a microwave oven are positive aspects. However, the lighting in the room is inadequate, especially near the door. Furthermore, the dark-colored carpet makes the room appear even dimmer. The room’s price is quite high, likely due to the Cheltenham Festival.”

“On arrival Bleesed on reception was helpful and polite. I was taken away by the sheer heat reception it was like an oven. Their was extra tea and coffee available to help yourself to but no milk showing the dirty residue of old milk in the tub. First issue room on the second floor with a lift out of use, not helpful when you are alone with a fair bit of luggage no assistance to haul it up 4 flights of stairs. Once in the twin room first thing I notice we're the bright red walls with lots of pain……

“The staff were extremely helpful when we suffered a bad experience with our food on our first night's stay. Stick to the basic meals on the menu, like the burgers and fish and chips! We booked a bed, breakfast and evening meal deal for 2 nights, to celebrate our wedding anniversary, but, on reflection, should have booked everything separately, because we would be over £100 better off!! Apart from being placed at the worst, and least private, table in the restaurant, we only had a limited menu……

“We had a deluxe room on the second floor. It was extremely hot - due to the temperature outside being 33 degrees - we did have a fan but no air con. Nice shower and coffee machine and kettle. Small TV but comfortable, clean room in general. Staff were all polite and efficient. Breakfast was good and bar facilities were also good. The Hotel was well situated for visiting where we wanted to go - about 20 miles from Coventry and about 20 miles from Woodstock and about 10 miles from Farmer's Dog and……
