“15 of us (of all ages) spent a wonderful week at Torbey Rise to celebrate our ruby wedding anniversary. The house is large and perfect for a big group. The pool and games room were a big hit. We loved the local beach - Torre Abbey Sands- is a blue flag beach. James our host was at hand to deal with any issues very quickly. We will return.”

“Property served its purpose well. Parts were a tad tired such as the stair carpets and big dips in the bedroom floors but the kitchen and dining room lounge were nice. Garden scruffy and no outside furniture. Oven was in need of a scrub. Beds were comfy however not enough bedding for the sofa bed or towels for everyone. No hand towels in the bathrooms just flannels.There was enough crockery for everyone and great kitchen facilities. Communicating with the host was excellent and very smooth.”

“Great location for St Ives, with parking, as long as you are fit and able to walk up and down to town. Excellent location for visiting surrounding locations by car. A great property for 7- 10 people. Lots of space. Well equipped. ”

“Work colleges who used the estate for exhibition in London.Great house with plenty os space. Well equipped kitchen.The jacuzzi is an extra plus after a long working day.”

“We recently stayed at this property for just 2 nights as a base while exploring London, and we barely used the place, making it impossible for us to cause the kind of stains they later claimed. We received an email stating that a portion of our deposit would be kept due to “extra cleaning” for marks on the wall - which were already there when we arrived and are completely normal for a well-lived space and for a torn throw that was already in poor condition upon check-in. We made sure to leave……

“Spacious apartment with great views, however lots of steps up to property which might not suit all plus no shops near by for groceries etc and although close to Poole a car is needed as it’s not an easy walk”

“It’s such a shame that the owners aren’t maintaining the property, On arrival the gate needs repairs ,the courtyard needs slabs replacing and just a general clean up ( weeds , debris everywhere and shabby bamboo hiding all sorts of things that shouldn’t be seen at a “ luxury barn “ . The main problems with the interior was a lack of windows with blinds that can be opened easily the downstairs bedroom with the patio doors had what looked like bin bags glued to the skylight windows. “We loved the layout and the location was fantastic - a really short drive to the beach. Unfortunately it smelled quite badly of cigarette smoke and the washing machine smelled musty so we had to use the laundromat on site instead. We would have liked to have had some USB plugs. ”

“Absolutely stunning place with really attentive and accommodating hosts. This spot is a real beauty and prime location with everything you need so local! We are gutted to have to leave!
