“Property was very clean and as advertised. Nice and bright house in very nice neighborhood. Comfortable beds, a really nice living/sitting/dinning room downstairs and two bedrooms upstairs. A perfect place for a family. We stayed with our 9mo old and the property provided a portable crib and a high chair which were appreciated. Really good communication with owner/manager. “Property was ideal size and location was good. Under the impression i was able to park in the land next to the property but was told off by another resident. Was advised by owner there is on road parking- should have read this properly! Apartment smelt of cigarettes and cannot take smell out from clothes. Shower had mould around grouting of tiles and needs bringing up-to date. Mattress - springs broken and had a dip did not sleep much. Extractor needs a good clean can see grease on top. Need……

“We have just spent an amazing 5 nights here with friends ageing from 48 - 72 and a 14 year old. Carl was brilliant in communicating with me when I booked for the group and met us with a warm welcome on arrival. He gave a tour of the house giving us all the information we needed. Even though we had visited the area before he gave us some brilliant ideas for takeaways and restaurants we hadn’t visited before. A great place to stay with an easy walk or bus into St Neots. “The property was clean although a bit tired. Quite a few fittings hanging off. Note there are 2 bathrooms and 1 toilet, not 3 bathrooms as advertised. Bedrooms functional but very cramped. The owner required a £300 deposit via bank transfer in order to release the keys on the day of check-in, and then didn't refund or communicate for a week after the the rental, despite me making numerous calls and messages. Refund came eventually, but communication was non existent.”

“We absolutely loved our weekend here. The cottage is so spacious and well decorated. Everything has been done with a lot of care and attention to detail and it shows. It looks even better than the photos! We didn’t meet Ann but Howard was great in showing us around and the communication before was very prompt and helpful. “This property is excellent for a target market of people travelling for work who just need a functional place to sleep and aren't fussy about the conveniences and luxuies usual in holiday let properties. We were happy with our stay because we had full days planned and were only in the property from 10pm to 8am each day, but I wouldn't recommend a holiday here if relaxing at the property would be part of the plan. The staircase is too steep for anyone older than 65ish or younger than 7ish.……

“Bad stay - the host did not send me check in details on the day of check in so I had to chase her up and she didn't even apologise for the hassle. One of the mattresses is so uncomfortable, you can Feel the springs. If you travel as 2 the host locks the bedroom doors for 1 room, is there any need? “The cottage is very pleasant and chaming, with lovely wooden floors. There was plenty of space for 3 of us. It was very relaxing. We all loved the cottage and it's location in Granchester, so near the meadows and easy walk/cycle to Cambridge Tess could not be more helpful, as we wanted to bring our bikes and was very flexible with our arrival/leave times (I know this might not be possible at busier times).
