“Fabulous, our room 402 had a huge balcony with views over the estuary and of the pier. Staff were very friendly and attentive, evening meal of sharing steak was cooked exactly as we like it and breakfast was also very nice, highly recommend the full English for the hungry or sausage muffin. The location is also great, up on the cliff away from the noise but only a short walk to the lift and no more than 5 minutes walk to the pier. My only suggestions to make this perfect would be to make a……

“Nice friendly place that seems to provide a lot of local employment. Staff seemed happy and were helpful. The room and bathroom were on the smaller side, but it's an old building, not much they can do about that. Big balcony and wonderful sea view. Breakfast was good mix with cereal, fruit and hot food. They even did some veggie sausages specifically for us. The evening food seemed expensive. But there are plenty of other places to choose.”

“The owner of The Lodge was very welcoming providing me with good information on how to find the place. My room was well equipped with TV, Fridge and Kettle plus storage for clothing if I needed to use it. The site also has ample parking. Although miles from other places, it's a quiet location and quite a hidden gem. It doesn't take long to get back to the Chatham area.”
