“Our family really enjoyed our stay. The house was clean and well stocked. The view on the river is wonderful. We hand manatees right out the front door. Kayaking was a highlight. We wished we would have booked a longer stay and look forward to returning.”

“We loved our stay at the Banks. Check in was easy. The house is fully equipped with everything to make your stay most enjoyable. You wake up to birds chirping. The closed in veranda made for enjoying the outdoors without the sand flies. Our fishing boat came to our door for pick up and delivery. The use of the kayaks was a bonus. Would have used the fishing poles provided but they need longer fishing line. We will definitely look at coming back.”

“Be prepared to live out of your suitcase, no storage, very small casita. Lots of issues with hot water, due to being of grid. Long ways from San Pedro or secret beach so golf cart is a must. ”

“Easily accessible. Close to town yet part of the tropical forest wich is manicured to make a walk enjoyable. All equipped kitchen. A warm welcome by the owner. Food offered is delicious. Fire pit for relaxing. Will be back.”

Communication during the entire process was prompt, professional, and courteous. The property is stunning, the area beautiful and serene, and the people amazingly friendly. We were taking a walk down the road and a gentleman with two small children stopped and asked if we needed a ride. I look forward to the opportunity to stay here again soon !!”

“Our family of 5 stayed in two cabins in late December 2023 and had a great time. The cabins were clean and the beds were very comfortable. Each had a porch looking out over fields and the Macal River. Manon was a fantastic host. She gave us great recommendations on places to eat in San Ignacio and things to do in the Cayo Region. The Lodge is down a dirt road that is very bumpy (like most roads in the region) and became very muddy because of the rain so we parked about 1/3 mile from the lodge……
