「The room was large and spotless. Refrigerator worked well. Staff helped me to book a scuba trip and checked on me regularly to see if I needed anything. The bed was really comfortable. It took me a minute to figure out that the hot water in the shower was really hot and you had to use the cold water to give it pressure, but is was heaven after a long scuba day. I spent a lot of time in the hammock on the porch. Perfect location in the middle of the walking area of Placencia. 」

「Very clean and comfortable, but cooking utensils and pans need retirement. Bathroom door needs fixing so it doesn’t scrape and jam on the tiles. It was a disappointment that the Cabana was not actually beachfront as advertised in its title but behind a higher, larger cabana. Sitting on the veranda we could see the beach and ocean by looking under and thru the other cabana’s supports. I do think this is false advertising however! Mirko our host was excellent, always answering my emails promptly...

「Peaceful, Clean, Large Cabana in a quiet neighbourhood. Hosts very accommodating, responsive and helpful. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. Bikes were available, but we didn’t use them. We chose to walk and go slow; Enjoy.! The kitchen in the art cabana was a bonus! Has everything you need if you choose to make a meal yourself. Available Rain jackets were a great touch.」

「There are four cabins on the property. It’s a beautiful location and quiet, but still close to San Ignacio. Julia and Tony are super hosts, very welcoming and knowledgeable.」

「The Cabana was nice and clean, had all we needed to make the stay easy and happy. At first I thought it would be to far out of the way, but not at all. The location was actually perfect for visiting Bocawina Falls, and Hopkins. Also we were happy with the airco, and sat at the roof top enjoying the view of field and mountains. A very nice surprise at the edge of town, and enough resorts around the beach taking care of our dinners.」
