    Temperatures in the summer can get hot during the day here in the High Desert. Fortunately for us, nature is our AC, it cools down significantly in the evening and overnight. In order to keep the inside of the cabin comfortable, we recommend keeping the windows and blinds closed during the heat of the day, then opening everything up in the evening when it cools down.

I would only recommend this cabin if you don't plan to be here during the summer--the air conditioning does not work. During our 85 degree days we came home a cabin anywhere between 78 and 80 degrees despite having the AC set to 70 during the day. The air vents feel like they are blowing recirculated air from the house. Luckily, on the bottom floor there are large doors to open to cool down the space at night but you will be out of luck during the day. If you have the misfortune to be sleeping upstairs (where most of the sleeping spaces are) you'll be faced with one singluar window to open and no visible air returns to help circulate cooler air from the downstairs.Otherwise, the cabin's furniture is comfy and it's not too far away from the parking area which is good if you have to bring luggage in or have someone who doesn't like walking.

Tucked into the woods yet close to the center of Sunriver, this cabin made for a pleasant stay. Nice to have bikes available and free passes to swimming pool for young families during summer. Everything was clean and well appointed although older and well used. I would note that while it's woodsy, there is a busy bike / pedestrian trail about 20 feet from the deck so that, from inside and on the deck, the view included lots of bicycles and runners when weather permits.

It was clean and nice. The air didn’t seem to work so you might check on that but we left the windows open the next night so it wasn’t too bad.
