Great Stay at Cumberland House

This is a wonderful property that is extremely well managed. The property was clean, well stocked and close to everything! The neighborhood is quiet and friendly. Homespun LLC was a breeze to work with. We’d love to come back to the Cumberland House next time we visit Bend.

Perfect location!!

This house was perfect for us. It was well equipped with everything we needed. Close to a small park which connected to trails that went to Old Mill one way along the river and to downtown Bend the other way via a walking bridge. Although Feb/March has snowy windy weather, we had a nice time and spent time in the nice jacuzzi as well as great times with our daughter and her husband. Perfect location, quiet and cozy!!

Great location, central to everything

Love the stay. The house is cozy and perfect for a small family (and a dog). We enjoyed the private and quiet neighborhood, and a benefit like the hot tub on the backyard deck. It would have been even better if the backyard has grass. The location is perfect. We can walk to the river and downtown, and just a couple blocks to Galveston Ave. We would definitely come back.

Great house in a great Bend location

We had a wonderful stay at Cumberland House. The house was clean, open, and made for easy living. We loved how quiet the neighborhood was and also how friendly people were as we set out on the front porch. The neighborhood is situated within walking distance of the Old Mill District, Hayden Homes concert venue, numerous Bend breweries, grocery stores, etc. Easy access to the Deschutes River Trail makes for a fun way to get out and see Bend by foot and if you want to get into the water, there spots nearby to launch your own river float. Overall we had a great time and thank Home Spun for a great vacation home.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house. From the hot tub to the king size bed, everything was comfortable and a home away from home. We were able to walk to both the Old Mill district and local breweries in the west side with other destinations a short bike ride away. The dog park being close by was also great. Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Bend.

We really enjoyed our stay in Bend over the Memorial Day weekend. This cute little house had everything we needed. Plenty of room for the 5 of us, hot tub, bikes, and when they say a fully stocked kitchen they mean it. From pots and pans, utensils, plastic wrap, and spices. So impressive. House was very clean and easy to keep clean.

This house was great not only for the location but also the space. We had a slight issue with the only shower and Erin was able to seamlessly move us into another property within walking distance. This is unheard of with most properties on here. Because of the amount of properties they manage, we did not have to fend for ourselves and find another property to rent. We really appreciated all of Erin’s efforts to help.

Fantastic Location

Darling, unique home in a perfect location for us. Walked to Old Mill, downtown, along the river. Hosts provided a very comfortable, cozy home, with clear information about how to work everything plus tourist info. More than enough parking. If there was one more bathroom the place would be perfect. As a historical home though, it's easy to see why there is only one. Would work well for a family of four, even so. Additionally, my daughter was surprising me for my birthday by decorating the door with balloons and streamers and signs and the home manager came by to check that the house was ready; she was super kind to my daughter (who feared she might be in trouble).

Overall, great experience and good communication. There were some dishes and utensils that were not thoroughly cleaned and some cobwebs on dining room light fixture, but overall seemed clean. Also, it would have been helpful to have some other supplies on hand such as an additional paper towel roll, shampoo/conditioner, facial tissue that other VRBOs seem to have readily available.
