Staying on the river was beautiful! Easy walk along the River to downtown restaurants and shops. The place was small but very efficient. We had everything we needed plus an incredible shower! It would have been perfect if it was a King size bed.The guest before us left dirty towels in the washer. Otherwise the place was clean.

Great location and view!

This condo and rental was perfect for our family of three with a ten year old and a 30 pound dog. We loved the location for views, walking, accessibility to all that Bend has to offer, the pool, and the steam shower. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful walkable spot to downtown Bend

This was a beautiful spot. Everything was smooth from the check in process to response time from the owner. The unit was beautiful, and had gorgeous views of the river. It made for such a cozy weekend away. Highly recommend!

Riverhouse Cottage

The cottage was the perfect location and such a beautiful stroll into town! My only compliant was the cleanliness mentioned by other reviewers. I emailed the staff about the broken garbage disposal and filthy AC filter, and both issues were corrected that same day. I would absolutely stay there again.

Could use a little furniture update

View was great, location was the best, outlet in bathroom still not fixed, We would again stay in the Hot Dam room. Enjoyed the view and being close a nice walk way for our dog. Nice to have the washer and dryer Wish the garbage deposit area was closer to manageable. Just drove to it. Shower was great and warm floor were a nice asset All and all would recommend.

25th anniversary

The view was for sure the best part of this cute little room. But the beds were so uncomfortable (why not a king bed)?! The seating was also uncomfortable. Just a few updates and it is spot on! Check in was a breeze! We showed up about 20 min early for check in. After driving through a blizzard( mini blizzard) the very nice girl at check in was so nice and and was a delight! It really is beautiful just a few updates.

Unexpected Disappointment

Overall shabby and dirty, white soap scum all over shower, dead electrical outlets, heated flooring ONLY in 1/2 the kitchen, toilet loud ran off/on all day, empty light socket in shower ceiling, leaky showerhead, broken furniture, management unresponsive. The river view was fantastic! Front desk did the best they could.

Going to Stick Figure Concert

Our stay was short but sweet. We arrived at 4 pm when check-in was allowed. We were able to park right in front of our unit. We unloaded our car then headed to the venue for our Stick Figure Concert at Hayden Homes Amphitheater. The walk took us 40 minutes was was very nice. We arrived back at our rental on the river around 11 pm. The sound of the river was so relaxing. We woke up at 9 am and drank coffee (provided by host) on the back deck and enjoyed our morning watching baby birds and their parents on the back deck. Checked at 11 am. Wish we could have stayed longer. Bed was a full so a little small for my sister and I. We didn't use the pull out. We really didn't have time to take advantage of the pool or other amenities. We enjoyed our stay.

Beautiful spot to enjoy the Deschutes River

We absolutely loved the location of this property. Staying on the Deschutes and being able to walk around it was so wonderful. The place was comfortable and had everything we needed. The bathroom was beautiful and shower so nice. There was an issue when we arrived with the temperature, but maintenance (Jimmy) was more than accommodating to get it corrected. There were only two downsides to the stay. First, we arrived a little early and asked for an early check-in. We were told absolutely you can check in early, but that it would cost $25. I have never had a property that I booked on VRBO that asked for a fee to check in early if the property was already cleaned and ready. Second, the shades throughout the unit were very dirty. In particular, the shade on the bathroom door was disgusting. Those two things said, we would definitely consider staying at this property another time, especially because of the location.

Great overnighter for a young family

We booked this unit because of the amenities and the location and it did not dissapoint. The only reason it does not get five stars is that some of the features are hard to figure out- i.e. steam room, lights, etc. Labels on light switchs would have made things easier to manage, or a binder with instructions would have been helpful, as we never could get the TV to work and the steam room took a great while to get going. Also some additional comfort items could have been nice (blankets for the livingroom or couch bed). Regardless perfect for us and our five year old. She slept on the couch bed, we walked along the river to a restaurant, and did a steam room after dinner. Awesome!
