Great spot in Bend

We booked this for a gathering of 5 couples. It was a great place, well stocked with everything we needed, comfortable gathering space both in inside and outside and a beautiful spot. Craig was an excellent host. 5 stars for this one - a comfortable base for enjoying Bend and Central Oregon!

Birthday getaway

House was beautiful in a great neighborhood. Everything that was promised was delivered and then some. We all had a wonderful time. I would highly recommend staying here to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway in Bend.

Executive Lodge - Fantastic!

A group of golf buddies had the pleasure of staying at the Executive Lodge, Memorial Day week. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant lodging experience! Craig and Kathy thought of everything to make our stay fantastic! The house is supplied with everything a guest would need. We look forward to our next visit to the lodge. Thank you.

The House and the views are amazing!!

I was really impressed with house and how well it was stock with absolutely everything you need. Craig is awesome and made everyone feel at home. The jacuzzi and ice bath were great after a day on the mountain. I will stay here next time I am in Bend for sure!

Our stay in the executive lodge was nothing short of spectacular. Craig and Kathy did an excellent job of communicating before our arrival making check in smooth and easy. We felt right at home with a fully stocked kitchen, comfy beds, and couches, and a GIANT hot tub. The cold plunge was a big added bonus. I would definitely love to stay here again in the future!!!

Raft Trip Getaway

We stayed at Craig and Kathy’s property to go on a raft trip on the McKenzie. The house was beautiful with plenty of space for 8 adult man. The amenities were fantastic, location was beautiful, and the hosts couldn’t have been more kind and accommodating. I said to my wife when we got home that they should teach classes on how to run a vacation property. Five stars all around.

Great time

This is a lovely property and the best stocked VRBO property I have ever rented. The Hosts saw to every need and I would likely stay there again. The only variable one needs to consider is that the bathrooms are very small and while we only had 3 people staying so it was doable, I am not sure how many more the bathrooms could handle even though the property sleep many more than 3. So renters just need to understand this walking in and if very tight bathrooms work for you you will NOT go wrong with this property. Again we had a wonderful time and stay.

Well Equipped, Beautiful House

We loved our stay at West Hills! The well-equipped kitchen was perfect for the huge breakfasts we cooked. The large windows offered a great view. We sat out on the deck at night to observe the stars. We appreciated the special touches the hosts provided. We initially couldn’t log into the Wifi, but Craig came over and reset the router and we were able to log in. The only suggestion I would make would be to add a hand rail to the steps for comfort and safety.

Its the little things!

The property was every thing that was listed and so so much more. The owners truly thought of the guests and not only what might be needed, but also what might be wanted for there stay. Beds had heating blankets on them, plenty of Individual T.V.s so that every one can watch what they want but still be part of the family space. The neighbor hood is amazing, with gorgeous views of Bend, the surrounding areas, and Deer that come thru on a daily basis. Now for the Title! Its the little things that made this place amazing and truly, Epically, and well Amazingly made the difference. Examples? 1. 3 different types of coffee makers. (Keurig, Drip, French press) 2. Condiments, I know that having a squeaky clean Fridge is always nice and beautiful but we decided while we where out and about that we wanted to grill some meat for dinner. Normally you would have to buy seasoning and BBQ sauce. but that's where this place came in for the win. BBQ sauce all ready in the fridge. 4 plus different seasoning for the Traeger, it saved so much Hassle and money Versus buying every thing for one meal. 3. Finally the Owners. They were very welcoming and made use feel like it was truly ok to use the BBQ, Hot tub, Kitchen, Dog Area. and so many other things that as a timid person when it comes to others belongings I would normally not touch. Personal review would easy top a 10/10 stars and HIGHLY, HIGHLY recommend staying here.

Fun Getaway!

Came with a group to celebrate the bride to be, the house was perfect size for us all! Home owner was a delight and all of the extra touches made this stay amazing. Would recommend this property to anyone needing a large space. Location was awesome too!

Quirky Home, With a Big Surprise

Overall, the house was pretty great. It was very quirky, comfortable, and well stocked.Pros: ample space, kitchen was loaded with supplies, safe/quiet neighborhood, hot tub and outdoor area are very enjoyable (note: there is a sauna not for use by guests). Cons: rooms are small, the neighborhood is not walkable to town and somewhat inconvenient to get to by car, owner’s quarters are attached to the unit. The reason the overall score is so low: during our walkthrough, the owner surprised us with the news that there would be construction work on the outside of the home during the second day of our stay (later again surprised that there would be more the third day). This work was to be strictly outside. Because he was so nice and I didn't want to put him out, I agreed that it would be okay. What I did not agree to - and only found out about because my younger sister stayed behind alone while the rest of us went skiing - was having construction workers let themselves in unannounced and make themselves at home - even going number two in one of the bathrooms. I was assured by the owner that they did not have the code or access to the home, but never received clarity on how they were able to enter. Not only was it extremely uncomfortable and frightening for my sister, but we also had valuable belongings out in the open that we would have preferred to put away. At a bare minimum, I expect safety and security during a stay, and those expectations were not met.

Nice weekend getaway!

My friends and I go away every year around this time. This was by far the best vacation rental we have stayed at. The owner was kind and helpful. The home was very nice and had everything we needed and plenty of space for all of us! We particularly enjoyed the outdoor space and hot tub!

Perfect stay in Bend

Whatever your reason for visiting Bend, this is the perfect place to do so. Close to town, great views off the back deck, a well stocked kitchen, a perfect backyard/hot tub combo the list is endless. You won't be disappointed in your choice to stay here.

Great home base for weekend Bend.

Place was great for my group of friends spending time in Bend and Mt Bachelor. Craig was super helpful during the check-in. Totally stocked with goodies and drinks. Nice big hot tub and ice plunge for relaxing after skiing.
