“Centre of town, close to the church with parking. Lovely host, great rooms and breakfast. Close to the river, which has a lovely quiet picnic area and large free car park. Returning in a few weeks for a longer stay.”

“After initial booking, don't expect much more help from the booking agency. And if French is not your spoken language, hire or ask a french speaking friend to help with booking the vendors. The recommended caterers are ok. Book the times 30 minutes earlier to ensure it's on time. And make sure ALL details are in writing and explored, or you may be disappointed.”

“We have had a really brilliant holiday. The site is really spacious, the tent was amazing and the kitchen and dining area were more than fully equipped including loads of games The hosts(and their dogs) couldn’t be more welcoming or helpful. They were also really prompt at responding and ultra flexible in these really tricky times. There was plenty of space to swim, walk, cycle and play games, space which was especially welcome after lockdown. We’re so glad we were able to come.”

Bij aankomst stond een welkomstpakket klaar, en ook tijdens ons verblijf werden de kids verrast met verwennerijen. Hele goeie communicatie.”

“Owner was super friendly and made good provision for our arrival. Property is as described and suited to a couple travelling with a dog. Quiet lanes and local footpath between fields made for a very pleasant evening walk. St-Claud a short distance for the essential patisseries.”

“Étape d'une nuit dans ce charmant gîte. L'accueil était très soigné et j'ai particulièrement apprécié les instructions reçues avant l'arrivée concernant les options existantes pour se restauré. Pas de télévision mais cela m'a permis d'apprécier le calme du gîte et le repos apporté par la nuit passée. Pour conclure, je recommande ce gîte si vous êtes à la recherche d'un accueil simple, authentique et si vous rechercher le calme.”

“This house is situated brilliantly for a rural holiday in France with great local towns, a near lake and lots of choice for restaurants within a short drive. We loved the terrace where we ate every day shaded by a glorious vine. The owners lived next door and were very helpful. Sadly when we were there they were not offering diner.”

“Nous avons passé une semaine dans une des maisons du gite, très propre, fonctionnelle et mignonne. Le hameau est tres calme, avec piscine et grand jardin. Parfait pour la deconnexion ! Les propriétaires sont tres a l'écoute et réactifs a la moindre demande. Je recommande !”

“Gezien het hotel wat vergane glorie uitstraalde was de ontvangst prima, Stephane is een vriendelijke man, die alles duidelijk uitlegde. Onze kamer was prima, fijne bedden en heerlijk openslaande deuren aan een Frans balkon. Helaas is t restaurant dicht in t weekend maar we hebben lekker gegeten in een restaurant 10 min lopen verderop. De tuin van t hotel was ook leuk, zwembad wat nog in gebruik was, ligstoelen en een groot terras waar je zou kunnen eten. Wij hebben genoten, prima als kort……

“Un très bon séjour passé à l'occasion d'un anniversaire. La maison est originale et située au calme ; elle a fait, par exemple, le bonheur des curieux de la famille en bricolage et la joie des plus jeunes en activité de cache cache et pour tous, des promenades bien sympathiques à faire aux alentours. Le propriétaire a fait preuve d'une grande disponibilité et répond rapidement aux questions, tout en restant discret (pas toujours sur notre dos, contrairement à certaines locations faites……
