「A beautiful spot and a charming home」

「This is the only home in south central Vermont that offers not only 7 bedrooms, allows dogs but also includes a private lake! The house is huge with plenty of extra spaces to hang out in after a day of hiking and boating on the lake. We really appreciated the canoe, kayaks and paddleboards provided so that we did not need to drive 7 hours with our own. The bunk room next to one of the master suites was perfect for our grandkids and their parents. The high chair and portable crib were both...

「Our host was extremely responsive and kind. The house was professionally cleaned and well stocked. I'd say the downside is that house is generally old and showed its age. The wall to wall carpet was stained in lots of places, the corners and tight / hard to reach spots hadn't been cleaned in a long time. Particularly challenging considering it's a dog friendly house. One of the beds was broken upon arrival, so we used the mattress directly on the floor. Unfortunately , the fireplace was still...

「We had a great time here! We came with 3 couples and 4 kids and the house had great space for us all. Great room to play for the kids, a big hot tub, and wood burning fireplace were all highlights, but catching the shuttle at the end of the drive way and getting out to ski right from the covered bridge was the best feature. Highly recommend!」

「The house was great. It had everything we needed and more. Kitchen well stocked for cooking in. Pet friendly and so well cleaned you would never know dogs allowed. Kevin easy to communicate with.」

「This was a wonderful place to stay close to Manchester and. Weston where family events were happening. It was very clean. Comfortable and cozy. The owner was very accessible and lovely. I would highly recommend this home.」

「Everything was great! The sleeping arrangements, the sauna, the kitchen had everything, the shuttle was perfect to get to the mountain, Carl was a great host, everyone had a blast! 」

「It was absolutely amazing 」

「We loved this house, spacious, comfy beds, cute mountain vibe. Very well stocked kitchen - made cooking meals for the group easy. The location to Stratton can’t be beat and the owners have everything really nicely set up for skiers (mudroom with lots of boot storage, benches, lots of hooks; boot toasters for drying boots, hand warmers, etc). And communication with the owners was outstanding - super responsive! Would highly recommend!!」

「Cleanest rental I’ve ever stayed at! Everything was as described and better! Host was exceptional and prompt to reply to a couple questions we had. He even shared a list of things to do and restaurants in the area! Felt very welcoming and had a lot of amenities. Will definitely keep, them in mind for the future.」

「Property was well equipped and super clean. Tom was incredibly accommodating. There was a snow storm, but he cleared the snow for us, so we got first tracks! House was nicely updated and comfortable. 」

「This is a great updated property on a wooded lot with plenty of privacy. Great secluded feeling but a short drive to Manchester, Stratton, and other VT attractions. Highly recommend a stay here.」
