This hotel is the absolute BEST! The staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. The hotel has an amazing breakfast as well as a fun bar area with free snacks on the weekends. you can walk to anywhere in the old city from the hotel. I can't wait to go back!

A Hidden Gem in the Heart of Bergamo

This charming little hotel, with just six rooms, offers an intimate and authentic Bergamo experience. Its location is simply unbeatable—right next to the funicular and steps from the entrance to the old city (Città Alta). You can’t ask for a better base to explore the historic charm of the area. What really sets this place apart is the service. Whether it's morning coffee or a late return from dinner, you're always met with a warm smile and genuine hospitality. The staff bring a lively and personal touch that makes you feel truly welcome. Highly recommend this hotel—it's become my top choice for every return trip to Bergamo. If you're looking for character, comfort, and a perfect location, this is the place.

Läget var perfekt men skulle inte boka igen

​Rummet och läget var utmärkt, men servicen och detaljerna motsvarade tyvärr inte våra förväntningar. Personalen var gullig men tror vi hade olika syn på hur saker ska vara. Vi blev lovade välkomstdrinkar vid incheckningen, men dessa uteblev. När vi istället beställde Aperol Spritz dagen efter tillsammans med lite snacks debiterades vi ändå 13 euro (för snacks), vilket kändes orimligt högt för en liten skål chips, nötter och oätbar pasta och gamla pizzabitar som vi inte ville ha. Vi uttryckte önskemål om lite chips. Dessutom fick andra gäster ”gratis” snacks, vilket kändes orättvist.​ Frukosten var under all kritik; samma torra bakverk stod framme under hela vår fyra dagars vistelse och ingen kvalitet på något. Gick ut och köpte en riktig croissant efteråt istället. Morgonrockarna som skulle ingå försvann efter dag två och ersattes inte. Fanns bara ett par tofflor på rummet. På rummet saknades även schampo och balsam vilket man kan förvänta sig på ett boende i denna prisklass. Vi påpekade att sladden till vattenkokaren inte passade i eluttaget men fick ingen hjälp.​ Trots att boendet i sig var okej, rummet var fint och personalen trevlig, så skulle jag tyvärr inte rekommendera detta hotell till det pris som jag betalade. Det är detaljerna och servicen som gör skillnaden, och där brast det tyvärr.​

Mycket nöjd med valet av hotell!

Läget var fantastiskt i Gamla delen precis vid linbanan Mycket trevlig personal, fräsch frukost med allt man kunde önska sig. Personligt och mysigt Vi fick drink och massa goda tillbehör vid ankomst Rummen var lagom stora, lite hårda sängar men allt övrigt var 10 poäng!

A beautiful welcome from wonderful hosts!

This is a wonderful boutique hotel perfectly situated for a stay in beautiful Bergamo's Citta Alta. We were greeted so warmly - the managers and staff are all smiles all the time! - and welcomed with a glass of lovely local White and a charcuterie board, while we watched the tiny funicular which goes up to the highest point of the town. The rooms are very nice. This area is quiet but so close to fabulous restaurants and shops and its famous walls and stunning architecture. We loved our stay and highly recommend Fuori Porta House. Oh: great food too!!

A fantastic stay!

We absolutely loved this hotel. It’s centrally located just next to the entrance of the old town. There are only 6 bedrooms in the hotel so it feels super friendly. The staff was AMAZING. They were all so pleasant and helpful. They made our stay super comfortable. The breakfast is good and the aperitivo on the terrace was great. Fully recommended!

Nice stay

Beautiful place, easy to find it. Very clean. The only two things we didnt like- being woken up at 6am by bin man emptying galss bottles! And breakfast wasnt great, not enough warm food.

The hotel was very conveniently located with the funicular right next door and the airport bus stop outside the hotel. The accommodation was of a very high standard throughout plus a big shout out to Sofie and the staff who were amazing. We had a great time at Fuori Porta House. The locations was the very best, right next to the fonicular. The rooms were beautiful, clean and spacious. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Many thanks to Johan who was so helpful and even took time to give us a lot of directions and provided us with a map and many good tips. We had a great time!

Great stay

A big nice room. The bed is a bit hard, but ok. Breakfast was ok. The service was amazing. I would stay here again, and recommend this hotel alot.
