"Terrible experience FAKE REVIEWS
We were checked into a room with
- a thick layer of dust on all surface areas
- a dirty food stained napkin and a pubic hair at the coffee station
- the bed was made but the sheets were not changed
- on the sheets we found pubic hair, body hair, body fluid stains, glitter and hair like someone had a hat cut in the bed
There was dried blood on the door frame and above the washroom trash can
The toilet had not been cleaned
Of course I went to the front desk and the staff asked me to show the cleaner what needed to be cleaned
I was not comfortable to do this as I felt it was not appropriate for a guest to direct cleaning staff. Nor should it be my job to ensure the room is clean.
We checked out and had to find a new hotel. Only to find that they charged my card for the full 4 nights and refused to approve a refund to Expedia.
Then - when I called - the manager spoke on and on about ensuring me the room was removed from being offered to guests and they were investigating what happened. To me it was clear what happened. I don’t care about the room or an investigation- I wanted a refund.
The manager then asked me to help her with a surveillance issue / that after we checked out someone damaged the door frame. I was like / what ?? Why are you asking me this? Then I realized it was for the purpose of accusing us of the damage to refuse a refund. A scam. A fraud. A horrible hotel. "
