"Very nice room in a quiet, beautiful part of the countryside. Friendly host. Lots of sweet dogs on the property. Many need a bath and a little medical care, in my opinion, but they were a joy to see whenever we came and went. The wifi did not work in our room at all. Dining in the area is limited, but we did find a nice place for pizza nearby."

"The staff were very nice and professional. Owner Joseph went to garage to pick us up, Roberto help with our luggage. Very helpful service. The cave rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. Antonella checked me in and since the gym was not open, she let me borrow 2 weights so I could work out in my room; both male bartenders in the evening (my apologies, I did not get their names) were so accommodating and Laura at breakfast on Sunday was so lovely and attentive. GREAT hotel when u visit Matera."
