“El hotel es sencillo con un hermoso jardín, las habitaciones pequeñas, no hay nadie que te reciba después de las nueve de la noche, ni nadie que te pueda ayudar después de esa hora, el hotel se queda solo y te dan una clave ara entrar. Si no consigues un lugar cerca de la puerta tienes que dejar el coche en un estacionamiento un poco lejano y pagarlo.”

“We had a fantastic time at Aethos Saragano. We stayed for a week in one of the village rooms. The room was clean and comfortable and well kitted out. The restaurant, Ceci, is fantastic - we ate there four nights, and could have happily had done more. The view from the restaurant and terrace is amazing - rolling Umbrian countryside as far as the eye can see. “As others have said, even more lovely than photos. We were 8 couples aged 23-77 for a week with room for more. A real advantage is the en suite bathroom situation, albeit some bathrooms and showers roomier than others. Highlight is outdoor dining patio where we took all meals given the mild September weather. “The host was super friendly and literally went out of his way to make sure we had a great stay. We wanted to do the Aqueduct walk, which he helped to plan and implement, but we only wanted to do it one way. He met us in Stresa and drove us to Collepino so we could walk back to the car, playing tour guide along the way. He made a dinner reservation for us the first night at a great restaurant. The host Nadia couldn’t have been more considerate and accommodating (even bringing me the most beautiful bunch of flowers for my birthday), and the house is absolutely extraordinary. “This was a beautiful piece of property to stay at in the city of Assisi. It was in a location that was very easy to access all the major Catholic holy sites. We took the city bus line up from the train station and were within a manageable walking distance from the bus stop. There are plenty of nice restaurants and cafes near by. A major plus was having the police station just down the block, so we felt extremely safe walking around at night.”

“Die Kommunikation mit dem Vermieter war nett und unkompliziert. Allerdings wurde vergessen uns vor Anreise mitzuteilen, dass ein Bad der Villa gar nicht benutzt werden kann! Zudem war das Haus bei unserer Anreise nicht geputzt. Was unser Urlaubserlebnis in Summe doch sehr getrübt hat. “We were a 3 generation family of 10. Overall very good, a lovely pool and a games room with table tennis and table football. Rome was reached by train from Terni. ( but check ticket prices as it varies enormously depending on the train) Lake Bolsena, Orvieto, Todi, Spoleto, Bagnoregio and Cascade del Marmore are all easily reached by car. Village pizzeria is excellent. We drove from Rome Fiumicino Airport, very easy using Autostrada. My family all enjoyed the soft river rafting near Marmore.……
