Staff are amazing, went above and beyond to meet our needs to ensure our short break went to plan, even offering to transport us into Ludlow as we were struggling to secure a taxi. Which in the end they managed to sort for us, both there and back enabling us to attend pre-booked live concert at Ludlow Castle. “Lovely Hotel stayed here for a night as i was going to see the script at Ludlow Castle , everything was within walking distance , staff were friendly and the room was perfect would definitely recommend 😊”

“We had a lovely stay, close to the castle for walking, lovely food and friendly staff. Sadly due to the age of the building we could here guests in other rooms, due to the squeaking floor boards in our room and other guests room, there was a point during the night we felt like guests where in our room when walking around upstairs. “Really enjoyed my stay here. I normally stay in modern hotels so this was a change for me. The town is lovely with narrow streets and old buildings so took a while to find the car park to the rear but that’s on me. From check in to check out though everything was an absolute pleasure. The young lady on the desk checked me in promptly and actually showed me to my room instead of just passing a key and having to try and find it in this quaint old building. Room was nice, fitting for the building……

“Unfortunately our stay had to be cut short by 2 days as my back could not tolerate the only bed in the property which is lumpy and hard. Think of a bag of potatoes and you wouldn’t be far off. I’ll end on a positive, the rear garden is beautiful!”

“Nice place. They mean it when they say limited housekeeping as you're expected to sort all trash, wash out containers, & put them in their appropriate recycling bins. If you don't like country or narrow roads this isn't the place for you but I live in the country so didn't bother me except for the really narrow badly kept roads. They only supply 1 key & you have to use it to even lock yourself in so if others in your party leave you're left with being locked in & not being able to get out or……
