  • Welcome to our place nestled in the country side. Where we hope you can spend your time relaxing, enjoying the scenery, and the abundance of wildlife. Wakeup to the sights and sounds of birds singing, sheep quietly grazing, Scottish Highland cattle calling and horses trotting on a quiet country morning. Expect to see deer grazing the property seemingly unaware of quite spectators as the sun starts to rise and burns off the morning dew. Our place is newly remodeled and ready for your stay. If you need additional space for large groups then look for our new property (Country's Edge #2 ) located directly next door to open spring 2020.

Kitchen was very well equipped. Rooms were very clean and nicely decorated. Nice laundry room. Out in the country and enjoyed the Shetland cows, sheep, goats and donkeys that were nearby.

Ark Encounter trip

Property was close to the Ark, but out in the country. Farther away from stores, restaurants, beautiful scenery, accommodations were good, very clean and neat. We had a great long weekend stay there.

Ark Encounter visit

This property was a perfect in between place to stay while visiting the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum. The hosts raise Scottish Highland cattle. We were able to book a last-minute encounter at their barn, which was a really fun addition to our itinerary.

Beautiful property Friendly people

My first time staying at a VRBO and it was a great experience. Property is remote so if you’re looking for quick access to restaurants and shopping this is not for you. If you want quiet enjoyment and beautiful scenery this is it.
