  • This welcoming holiday property lies just outside the charming village of Norham, near historic Norham Castle and the scenic River Tweed. Enjoy riverside walks from your doorstep, a haven for birdwatching and nature enthusiasts. The village provides essential amenities: a quality butcher, fresh bakery, well-stocked general store, and inviting pub. A short drive takes you to Berwick-upon-Tweed, boasting a stunning estuary, beachfront, and a rich arts scene, including The Lowry Trail and diverse dining options. Edinburgh's cultural attractions are easily accessible by train for memorable day trips. Explore the Scottish Borders, from Kelso's renowned racecourse to the picturesque coastal villages of Burnmouth and Eyemouth, each with its unique charm. The historic and spiritual Holy Island, the imposing Bamburgh Castle, and the wildlife-rich Farne Islands, accessible via boat trips from Seahouses, are all within easy reach, offering a compelling blend of relaxation, exploration, and natural beauty.     A shallow step takes you onto the raised decking and to the French doors of this lovely holiday bungalow. Head into the contemporary, open-plan kitchen/diner which is equipped with everything you need to prepare tasty meals and drinks, including an electric oven and hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, and washing machine and you can all sit at the dining table for sociable mealtimes together. There is a Freeview TV on the wall and a small seating area where you can chat to the cook, read a book or enjoy a drink while waiting for dinner. The family bathroom is off the dining area with a shower over the 'P' shaped bath and WC. A glazed door leads to the hallway and front door. Off the hallway, you will come to the light and airy, south-facing lounge furnished with comfortable seating, a cost wood burner and TV. There is a window seat where you can perch to observe the visiting birdlife to the front of the property. The two bedrooms are also off the hallway and complete the accommodation. There is a double bedroom with a front garden view and a twin bedroom at the rear and each has a dressing table and TV.


    Outside, there is a south-facing enclosed patio a the front of the property with garden furniture, this is a lovely place to sit with a drink. At the rear, there is a garden table and seating, perfect for al fresco dining. In addition, there is a small, lawned area at the rear and off-road, private parking spaces for two cars.
