Really well laid out, light, bright space with plenty of well thought out storage & thankfully heating in the bathroom, unlike some shepherds huts. Insanely great views from the cabin out towards the sea, Lindisfarne & Bamburgh across fields where we watched hares, owls & bats as well as the owner’s very nosey chickens! The cabin is in the churchyard of a former church (now a private home) & we walked past the graveyard to get there!

The hut was very well equipped and very clean. Everything had a place to keep it tidy. The king size bed was really comfortable, We loved the views which were amazing over the Northumberland coast and the sunsets too. The hens who came to visit us was a nice touch too! It was a lovely place to stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the Good Shepherd hut. Everything to make our stay comfortable had been thought of. We loved the cheeky chickens who visited regularly looking for food. Such an amazing view and beautiful sunsets. We would highly recommend.

Lovely place to stay. Really well designed and making great use of the available space. It has everything you need and with a very comfortable double bed. Very quiet and excellent view out front.The welcome pack of fresh eggs, milk, very good crisps and prosecco was a lovely touch. Thanks again!

The most beautiful, romantic two nights we have spent on our travels in the UK. From the welcoming Prosecco to the cool fresh bottle of milk and free range eggs, everything was very well thought through and immaculate. The hut itself was perfectly appointed - neat, clean, warm shower, lovely personal touches throughout. The wood burner complete with perfectly cut and sized logs was such a treat and made the cabin cosy and warm. The views are breathtaking - sweeping views of the coast with Holy Island in the background. A birders and walkers paradise. Could not recommend more highly.
