The property is well kept, quiet, the rooms are very clean, and Denise (the manager) will go out of her way to accommodate you, including loaning you a skillet, egg turner, coffee mug, and paper plates so that you can fix breakfast in your room.”

“Lake View Apartment on Lake Wylie is a wonderful rental. In the lead up to our trip from Oregon we had some adversity and reached our to James and he was extremely prompt and considerate in text and phone conversations. The location and amenities on the gated property were many. Firepit time next to the lake was spectacular. We paid extra for an awesome pontoon cruise and would schedule a cruise again. The apartment has what we needed to dine in and save but many options close by for eating out.……

“We absolutely loved the apartment, has a very private entrance and patio. The host were very kind and friendly. My daughter and I enjoyed the hot tub. My son was sad to leave their 3 Golden Retrievers, who would come up for cuddles during our stay.”

“We came down for the weekend to watch our son and his band perform. Meghan’s Place was the perfect retreat. You wouldn’t know it was attached to a home as it was quiet and serene. “Please don’t be hesitant about me eating 5stars across the board. My stay here was beyond what I was expecting. Planned a getaway for my partner and I however they were unable to travel last min which left me kinda heartbroken. Until I arrived to the Lake. Host were very welcoming, the location is tucked off the highway and even though it’s close to the airport I never heard a single plan until I hit the main road!! I spent a good hour floating away in one of the kayaks and some more time……

“We were having a day trip to Gastonia for Thanksgiving and just needed a place to crash, we weren’t expecting it to be so conveniently located (2 minutes from my grandmothers house!) It’s very compact. Think split 1 bed but it was all wee needed! Very clean and very easy to find. I’d 100% stay again!”

We contacted vrbo immediately- no one is allowed to record my children inside - host stopped communicating once we stated he couldn’t record our kids. House rules are insane- plus no towels/bare necessities provided! Stay away!”

“The host was superb. He stayed in touch with us the entire week, was quick to resolve an issue, went out of his way to make us feel welcome. The shower in the master bathroom was excellent; the best of the many places we have stayed. The beds and other furniture were comfortable. The appliances were easy to use. “I arrived & the owner never responded to me (by email or by phone. The phone was disconnected) about getting into the VRBO. I called VRBO and spoke to Ismail. He tried email and the only phone number available to VRBO. He said the ph# was no good. I looked back 1 yr ago the same thing happen to another person. Apparently, VRBO does not do a routine check on their owners to confirm email and phone contacts. I asked Ismail what happens if I can’t get into the apartment? He said he did not know.……

“Although we didn’t get to enjoy the property very much it was really beautiful. The lake views are gorgeous. The suite is private and just as described. Really comfy bed, nice towels, coffee and coffee supplies. Dawn is really nice and we talked to her a couple times while we were there. We didn’t need anything but if we did she was very accessible and the communication was great. We would definitely stay there again if in the area. When you get there you will be greeted by two or three huge,……
